The Bronx Walk of Fame

Janes Walk

Led By Rob Walsh, The Bronx Economic Development Corporation

Join us on May 2nd to experience The Bronx Walk of Fame!

The Bronx Walk of Fame is a 23-block stretch of the Grand Concourse lined with “street signs” celebrating some of the borough’s greats — like Colin Powell, Chazz Palminteri, Rita Moreno and over one hundred more. Wear your walking shoes and join us for a 90-minute walk along the Walk of Fame and discover historical sites along the way. Bring a camera to snap a shot under your favorite Bronx celebrity’s sign!

The most exciting part? You’ll also be one of the first to use our new Bronx Walk of Fame app, which was created to give those near and far the chance to experience the Walk of Fame. You can use the app to follow along on our walk and learn more about each inductee’s career, and how their success traces back to The Bronx!

Accessibility

The beginning of the walk is near the 4/5 and 2 trains (149 St stop for both), the MetroNorth Yankees-153rd St and the BX1/BX2 Grand Concourse/East 149th St stop. We'll walk up to 170th Street (the end of the WoF) and back down to The Bronx Drafthouse (end spot). This is near the 4 and B/D trains (161 Stop) the the MetroNorth Yankees-153rd St stop and the BX1/BX2 Grand Concourse/East 161st Street stops. This walk should take about 70 mins (not including stopping to talk or crossing the street, so the total time will be 90 mins) and does not include steep hills or stairs.
