Coney Island: Boardwalk & Beyond

Janes Walk

Led By Nina Tinikashvili

Stroll through ‘Playground of the World’, Coney Island! We’ll marvel at iconic sites such as The Wonder Wheel while discussing the past, present, and future of this historic neighborhood.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water and sun protection as we’ll be right next to the beach on the boardwalk.

Accessibility

Coney Island is served by many trains and bus lines. The Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station has elevators and ramps. There are public and private parking lots for cars and bicycles. Citibike does not serve this area. We will be walking on the boardwalk which has ramps to enter, but is often uneven. Please use caution.

Location Information

RSVP is required and capacity is limited. Meeting location, ending location, and directions will be provided via email before walk date.
