Central Park South and West 60th Street

While our regular MAS walking tours are suspended until further notice, we are pleased to offer virtual tours for MAS members.

Our virtual walk will begin at the General Sherman Monument (New York’s greatest work of public art) and pass through the Plaza Hotel. We will then cover Central Park South (including the group of equestrian statues at Bolívar Plaza) to Columbus Circle. We’ll circle around the circle, take an oblique view of Lincoln Center, pause at the grand Church of St. Paul the Apostle, and end at Stanford White’s IRT Powerhouse. Those are the highlights. Many surprises will emerge along the way. Take the N or R to 59th Street. *just kidding*
