We’re going to explore a few of the Harlem River Bridges and see how things are connected with amazing views of the Harlem River.
We’ll walk over the Third Avenue bridge then over the Madison Avenue Bridge
to the 145th Street Bridge and finally zig zag over the Macombs Dam Bridge.
Along the way we’ll explore specific points of interest including a street that was once a canal, the Harlem Hellfighters, a park which used to be an industrial site, a view of Yankee Stadium and the only relic left which connected to the former Polo grounds and much more.
We’ll definitely get a different perspective of how Manhattan and The Bronx are connected and explore some of the history of the Harlem River.
Wear comfortable shoes, bring bottle of water and a camera.
