Accessibility
This guided walk covers approximately 2 miles of mostly flat terrain, with some gentle inclines and a few steps. The route is primarily along paved sidewalks and pathways, which are generally accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.
Roosevelt Island is accessible via the wheelchair-friendly Roosevelt Island Tram (from 2nd Ave & 60th St in Manhattan), the F train (with elevator access), the Q102 bus from Queens, and the free Red Bus circling the island. CitiBike stations and limited car parking are available.
