[Virtual tour] A setting for political campaigns, celebrating brave war heroes and violent protest, New York City retains many fascinating remnants and relics of the war between the states. Join architectural historian Matt Postal for an illustrated tour of what actually remains, including buildings visited by Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln, structures associated with the gruesome Draft riots, as well as grand and intimate monuments that commemorate the triumphant Union Army and those who valiantly served.
