Approximately one hour walk starting at Bennett Park (185th Street and Fort Washington Avenue) and ending in Fort Tryon Park. Several sites and events will be discussed including the James Gordon Bennett and property, Battle of Fort Washington, the George Washington Bridge, features of the Hudson River, Mother Cabrini, the creation of Fort Tryon Park and the background of the Cloisters collection.

Walking with some slight up grades and a few steps in Fort Tryon Park.
