On Monday, October 26, the Municipal Art Society of New York presented its highest honor, the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Medal, to two exceptional New Yorkers: Peter L. Malkin and Robert A. M. Stern. The presentation and gala dinner took place at the New York Public Library, one of the city’s most beautiful works of Beaux-Arts architecture.
The Medal is presented to individuals who, by their work and deeds, have made an outstanding contribution to New York City. The medal bears Mrs. Onassis’ name in recognition of her tireless efforts to preserve and protect New York’s great architecture. Learn more about the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Medal at MAS.org/jko
