A long time preservationist, Don spearheaded the first photography exhibit of Miami Modern (MiMo) architecture that traveled to the Municipal Art Society in New York City in 2002. In 2006, he and his wife Nina Weber Worth developed a series of exchanges with Shanghai which ultimately led to a photography exhibit and book entitled “Art Deco in Shanghai and Miami Beach”. In 2008, he Co-Founded Friends of Miami Marine Stadium (http://www.marinestadium.org) along with Jorge Hernandez and Hilario Candela, the architect who designed the Stadium in 1963.  After four years of advocacy, the Friends of Miami Marine Stadium entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Miami in March, 2012 to develop a plan to restore and operate the Marine Stadium.
