Downtown Brooklyn: Old and New

With Matt Postal

[In-person tour] From Abraham & Straus to City Point, architectural historian Matt Postal discusses the multi-layered history of this rapidly evolving Brooklyn neighborhood. Together, we’ll see structures along Fulton Street that housed Victorian era and early 20th century retailers, as well as the continuing impact of the 2004 rezoning, including the recently-revived and restored Gage & Tollner restaurant, several Art Deco gems, and a group of high-rise developments by, among others, Studio Gang and SHoP Architects.
