Program Sponsorship Opportunities
In addition to our Corporate Partners Program, MAS works with our corporate friends to design sponsorship opportunities that raise their visibility in the architecture, real estate and design industries, as well as the broader New York civic community.
Sponsorship levels range from $5,000 to $100,000. Benefits of sponsorships of $25,000 or more include automatic enrollment in our Corporate Partners Program at the Benefactor Level. Among our sponsorship opportunities are the following:
MAS Summit for New York City
The annual MAS Summit for New York City, now in its third year, convenes more than 700 business professionals, city officials, academics and community activists over two days to discuss the major issues affecting New York City’s livability. The Summit provides corporations broad exposure to the city’s civic-minded thought leaders and practitioners, in addition to major media outlets. Sponsorship packages range from a $100,000 “Title Sponsor” to a $12,500 “Sustaining Sponsor” and include the opportunity to design and/or participate in a specific keynote or panel discussion, as well as branding exclusivity.
The MASterworks Awards
MAS’s annual architecture and urban design awards honor projects completed the previous year that have contributed significantly to the urban fabric of New York City. The MASterworks Awards are selected annually by an esteemed jury of five professionals in the architecture, design and development fields. They are presented at a festive evening reception that brings together the leaders of New York’s civic, cultural, design and business communities. Sponsorships available include an exclusive “Presenting Sponsor” package for $35,000 or multiple $10,000 packages.
Public Programs
In an effort to advance the core mission of the Municipal Art Society and communicate key initiatives to broad audiences and constituencies, MAS develops a series of diverse and engaging public programs each year. Our programming convenes stakeholders and thought leaders and stimulates dialogue centered on livability and the built environment. Sponsorships range from $5,000 for a single program to $50,000 for an annual series.
MAS Livable City Awards
The MAS Livable City Awards celebrate individuals and groups that help define the character of New York City or contribute to its quality of life. The awards are presented annually on the evening of the first day of the MAS Summit for New York City in front of an audience of 300 to 400 MAS members, civic and business leaders, city officials and other city builders. An exclusive “Presenting Sponsor” package of $25,000 is available.
Our Popular Architectural Walking Tours
Each year, more than 5,000 New Yorkers and tourists participate in our award-winning architectural walking tours – a New York tradition since 1956. Led by experts in architecture, art, urban history, preservation and geography, our tours range from strolls through New York’s most fascinating communities, to explorations of celebrated neighborhoods and open spaces, to off-the-beaten-path excursions. An exclusive $50,000 “Presenting Sponsor” package is available for the entire tour series, including branding on all collateral and e-communications.
